Do you love working in paediatrics and have a heart for the South Auckland community? Our Start Well team are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Registered Nurse to join our dynamic community team based in Maangere; leading innovation and walking alongside whaanau as they navigate life's challenges.

Start Well is an exciting initiative supporting young maamaa, peepi and tamariki; beginning in pregnancy and through the first 5-years of life, with a whaanau-whaanui approach. We are a multi-disciplinary team of Social Workers, Paediatric Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists and a Taane Mentor.

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. No shift work and no weekend work required. 

Ngaa puukenga me ngaa wheako - Skills and Experience
  
Ideally you will have experience working in child protection and family harm, and will bring along your expertise in managing care with social complexity and risk. You will also:

• Have a paediatric and/or Well Child experience
• Be a Registered Nurse, hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate and relevant indemnity insurance
• Be comfortable working in a community setting
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience working alongside whaanau with a multicultural background
• Be proficient in your computer skills
• Be flexible in a dynamic and ever changing environment
• Hold a valid NZ Full Drivers Licence
