Are you passionate about supporting our rangatahi and their whaanau and making a positive and empowering difference in your community?
Kia Ora Ake is a locally co-designed wellbeing and tamariki focused approach that supports the mental and emotional wellbeing of young people. As part of the national Mana Ake programme - this role works within primary and intermediate schools to support tamariki, their whaanau, and school communities.
In this role, you will work alongside schools, kura Maaori, and community partners to deliver wellbeing programmes and provide targeted support. Your work will help tamariki build resilience, strengthen their wellbeing, and achieve their hinengaro goals, contributing to their success.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to connect and build meaningful relationships with rangatahi and whaanau from all backgrounds. You will advocate for rangatahi by identifying needs and connecting them to appropriate resources and support systems.
