Clinical Pharmacist

Te whiwhinga mahi - The opportunity
  
We have an opportunity available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in our Māngere and Panmure clinics. You will work closely with our General Practitioners (GPs), Registered Nurses and patients and will be supported by our knowledgeable on-site Clinical Pharmacist. The hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Part time hours may also be considered.
  
You will work closely with our patients to perform health assessments and consultations, focusing on the appropriate prescribing and utilisation of medicines for whānau. You will also provide our GPs and Registered Nurses with education support and clinical guidance to ensure all information is current and accurate. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent care, support and education within a primary healthcare environment.
  
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills and experience
  

• Be registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate. We may also consider your application if you are currently working toward this.
• Ability to apply the latest evidence to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Strong skills in engaging with diverse patients and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local and regional support services to provide holistic care
• Applying an equity lens to improve health outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples, and other priority populations.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Ability to speak Te Reo Māori or another language would be advantageous (but not a must)
• Full Drivers Licence
