Financial Accountant – Team Lead

Te whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the financial reporting and management functions at Turuki Healthcare are accurate, efficient, and well-structured. We’re seeking someone with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify opportunities to streamline and enhance our processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and monitoring financial data (sales and liabilities)
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Producing reports to meet Charities Services compliance
- Provide month-end and year-end financial and management reports
- Prepare and review management reports
- Forecast costs and revenues
- Organise annual audits to align with compliance
- Prepare annual budgets
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako – Skills and Experience - A Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification
- Experience working with health and social services agencies (advantageous)
- Several years’ experience in financial accounting
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Systems and process focused
- Highly resilient, you thrive in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about working with people from a multicultural society
