Turuki Health Care is a kaupapa Māori organisation delivering integrated Health and Social Services across Tāmaki Makaurau. We provide quality, accessible and affordable health care and support to whānau.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity:

Our team offer an integrated service that provides education and support for whānau and prioritizes the needs of māmā and their tamariki. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the administrative functions of the team are up to date and running smoothly. Your day to day tasks will include (but are not limited to)

• Processing procurement requests 
• Filing documents and client paperwork 
• Report writing
• Handling the health and safety duties for the team 
• Organizing and planning events for the wider team
• administrative tasks

This position is a full time, 12-month fixed term, working from 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, based at one of our Māngere offices. 

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience:

• General administration experience including accurate data entry skills
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programmes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great telephone manner and a good sense of humour
• NZ Full Driver’s Licence - as you may be required to use the work vehicles to pick up supplies for events and visit our other sites 
• The ability to speak Te Reo Māori or another language would be an advantage
