Are you passionate about empowering rangatahi and enhancing the wellbeing of tamariki and their whānau?
Kia Ora Ake is a new locally co-designed tamariki focused hinengaro wellbeing approach. It is part of the national Mana Ake programme - A school based holistic wellbeing approach providing support to primary and intermediate school aged tamariki, their whānau and schools.
We are looking for someone who is determined and experienced to be at the forefront of implementing the Kia Ora Ake approach. Your expertise will contribute to shaping positive outcomes for our Rangatahi and their whānau.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse network of stakeholders – including schools, kura māori, and various health and education agencies with creative solutions that address the mental health needs of our young people. You will utilize your analytical skills to access current practices and develop creative, practical strategies aimed to enhance the wellbeing of rangatahi and their whānau.
The ideal candidate will serve as a point of contact for clinical queries, be a registered health or social practitioner with relevant qualifications with the ability to connect and engage with rangatahi and whānau from all backgrounds and collaborate with non-clinical staff and various agencies to deliver comprehensive support for mental health and wellbeing.
