Are you passionate about empowering rangatahi and enhancing the wellbeing of tamariki and their whānau?
Kia Ora Ake is a new locally co-designed tamariki focused hinengaro wellbeing approach. It is part of the national Mana Ake programme - A school based holistic wellbeing approach providing support to primary and intermediate school aged tamariki, their whānau and schools.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with schools, kura māori, and key stakeholders to implement and deliver school programs, as well as targeted support initiatives that promote mental health and wellbeing, ensuring that all tamariki reaches their hinengaro goals and contribute to their success and resilience.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to connect and build meaningful relationships with rangatahi and whānau from all backgrounds. You will advocate for rangatahi by identifying needs and connecting them to appropriate resources and support systems, be proactive, organised and reliable as well as have excellent time management and a positive work ethic.
