Turuki Health Care is a kaupapa Maori organisation delivering integrated health and social services to the wider Counties Manukau and ADHB area. We provide quality, accessible, and affordable health care and support to whanau.

This position is fulltime, Monday to Friday and is based at our Mangere location.

As a Tupuranga Aki Navigator you will need to provide a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach for whanau with tamariki aged 3 and 4 years old not participating in ECE. Supporting them to develop plans by helping them to:

• Understand the value of early learning
• Engage with the early learning of their tamariki
• Access quality early learning for their tamariki

The ability to establish strong working relationships with wahine, whanau, other staff and communities, based on effective communication and organisational skills is an essential component to this position.   

Your experience and skills will include:

• Experience in an education and/or social services setting
• Knowledge and experience in planning goals with whanau
• Enthusiastic team player as well as being able to work independently
• Professional presentation and excellent work ethic
• NZ full driver’s license
• Ability to speak Te Reo Maori or other languages would be an advantage
