WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the Compliance Analyst, you’ll work closely with the escalation team to review, manage and resolve non-compliance and dispute matters. Managing the end-to-end processes associated with Employee Service Review, Section 48 Payments and Employee Waiver Agreements.
You will:
- Manage Service Review cases and action plans through to resolution or close (track, update, report)
- Prepare documentation relating to the Service Review process (including Employee and Employer communications, reporting, Board documentation)
- Support in presenting decision recommendations to the Board or appropriate Technical Committee for endorsement
- Own end-to-end process relating to Section 48 payments to Employees, including receipt of applications, collection of relevant supporting documentation, calculation of payment rates, and preparation of final documentation for internal sign-off, and internal handoff for entitlement record to be updated
- Maintain the central registry to track, update and report on Employee Waiver Agreements, including the coordination of the periodic review of in-force Waiver Agreements
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders as required to manage the endorsement (or not) of the Waiver Agreements
- Report on Employee Service Reviews, Section 48 Payments, and Waiver Agreements.
This is a contract role for 6 months, based in Newcastle.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING To be successful in the role of Compliance Analyst, you will have the ability to understand and apply legislation, processes and procedures. Ideally you will have previous experience in a highly regulated environment
Your background will demonstrate your:
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and consult with a diverse range of stakeholders in a confident and effective manner
- Ability to develop and present complex information and concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience in using best practice consultation principles and tools
- Ability to provide feedback, support and educate peers
A bachelor’s degree or Professional Certificate will be highly regarded.
