WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the Regulatory Analyst, you will interrogate data to determine Employer non-compliance and provide recommendations for action plans. You will oversee the full lifecycle of Employer Audits and Insolvency processes, ensuring compliance issues are addressed and developing action plans to support the Creditor process.
You will:
- Engage and communicate directly with Employers, Auditors and Accountants to deliver on the annual schedule for Employer Audits
- Manage the collection of Audit reports across the calendar and financial years: track, document, and store Audit reports
- Review Audit reports to determine if non-compliance or further action is required
- Develop action plans and engage with appropriate (internal) stakeholders to support resolution of Employer non-compliance
- Manage the program of non-compliance resolution (track, update, report)
- Engage and communicate directly with Employers, Administrators and Liquidators in relation to the insolvency and Creditor process
- Develop action plans to manage the Insolvency and Creditor process
- Manage the program of Employer Insolvency through to resolution or close (track, update, report)
- Preparation and management of all documentation relating to the Creditor process (Proof of Debt, Legal Documents, Creditors Reports etc.).

This is a permanent role based in Newcastle.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING To be successful in the role, of Regulatory Analyst, you will have expertise in interpreting and applying legislation, processes and procedures, within a highly regulated environment. You will be an effective communicator who builds trusted relationships and champions process improvements through critical thinking and a growth mindset.
Your background will demonstrate your:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build strong and trusted relationships
- Ability to understand and apply legislation, processes and procedures
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Capacity to communicate and consult with a wide range of stakeholders in a confident and effective manner
- Competence in translating complex information and concepts in a clear, concise and actionable manner
- Expertise in applying, best practice consultation principles and tools
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and lead positive change in processes
- Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously; and initiative is taken in proposing suitable recommendations
- Skill in providing feedback, supporting and educating peers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel
Bachelor’s degree or professional certifications (highly desirable).
