About the role
As part of our Data Centre Operator team, you’ll help ensure our cloud-based infrastructure is secure, available, and reliable—24/7.
Working from our beautiful TEAM IM Wellington Offices, you will:
- Provide level one support/ respond to basic customer queries
- Liaise with/ escalate to our wider team for support with more complex issues
- Monitor our systems and respond to alerts/issues
- Generate reports and maintain documentation
- Follow company and industry standards, policies and procedures
- Make the most of professional development and technical training opportunities
- Participate in technical training and ensure your relevant Oracle certifications are current
This is an
office-based role supporting our customers on a 24/7 basis, so you must be willing to participate in a rotating roster which will include night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
The remuneration for this role will vary depending on your shifts but we expect to pay $30 per hour for standard day shifts, plus extra for nights and weekends.
Who are we looking for?
This is an entry level IT role. You don’t need extensive qualifications or specific experience in an IT specific role. However, you do need to be a tech savvy, team player with proven experience in customer service and a willingness to learn.
In addition, we will be looking for you to demonstrate the following on your application:
- A good understanding of IT systems within a typical office environment
- A friendly and responsive communication style with excellent interpersonal skills
- A willingness to adapt to changing shift requirements/shift patterns
- Self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills
- A desire to learn and grow within the IT industry
Experience with or interest in Oracle tools is a plus, but not required.
As shifts may fall outside of public transport hours, you will need to live within walking/cycling distance or have a full driver license and reliable access to a vehicle to get to work.
