Sports & Spinal Group is seeking an Accounts Assistant to provide quality support to our Finance team.
This position offers an outstanding opportunity to be involved in an expanding network of Physiotherapy Practices. The role will involve providing support to our practices across the Fraser Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast. The role will assist with:
- Data entry of daily & monthly transactions
- Process Accounts Payable across 30 companies with weekly & monthly payment runs
- Process high volume daily Accounts Receivabl
- Liaise with suppliers and clinics regarding accounts payable queries
- Process fortnightly contractor payments
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly management reports (including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations)
The ideal candidate will: - Have a love of numbers and data entry
- Be highly organised with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Have experience and/or knowledge with reconciliation of balance sheet clearing accounts and bank reconciliations
- Have intermediate Excel skills to analyse expenses as required
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, take initiative, have high attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure, have a can-do attitude and be interested in learning all aspects of a business.
Experience with an accounting software like Xero or Dynamics BC and a Practice Management System, together with Health Industry accounts duties will be an advantage.
