About the Role
Due to continued growth, our Morayfield clinic is seeking a permanent part-time Receptionist to join their team, working approximately 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday.
This role offers variety across the week, with the successful candidate required to have flexibility to support clinic opening shifts from 7.15am and closing shifts until 6.30pm.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy healthcare environment, and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing allied health organisation.
You'll join a supportive administration team and work alongside a multidisciplinary group of clinicians, helping deliver exceptional service to our patients and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and managing front desk reception
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- Processing Medicare, HICAPS and EFTPOS transactions
- Managing referrals and clinic correspondence
- Data entry and maintaining accurate patient records
- Invoicing and debtor management
- Diary management and appointment coordination
- End-of-day reconciliation
- Stock ordering and general clinic administration
- Providing day-to-day support to clinicians and the wider clinic team

Desirable Experience - Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
- Experience within allied health, medical or healthcare administration
- Exposure to HICAPS, Medicare billing or practice management software (advantageous but not essential)
