We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Senior Receptionist to become an integral part of our busy Coolum clinic.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing healthcare organisation.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time position working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You'll join a supportive administration team and work alongside a large multidisciplinary group of clinicians, helping deliver exceptional service to our patients and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and managing front desk reception
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- Processing Medicare, HICAPS and EFTPOS transactions
- Managing referrals and clinic correspondence
- Data entry and maintaining accurate patient records
- Invoicing and debtor management
- Diary management and appointment coordination
- End-of-day reconciliation
- Stock ordering and administration support
- Providing day-to-day support to clinicians and the wider clinic team
About You We're looking for someone who is: - Friendly, professional and approachable
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Able to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- A strong communicator who enjoys helping people
- Reliable, proactive and a team player
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Desirable Experience - Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
- Experience in allied health, medical, or healthcare administration
- Exposure to HICAPS, Medicare billing or practice management software (advantageous but not essential)
