Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy are seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our busy and growing Caloundra allied health clinic, providing maternity leave coverage with the opportunity to grow into a part-time role as the clinic expands in 2026.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, loves helping people, and thrives as part of a collaborative team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring every patient has a welcoming and seamless experience when visiting our clinic. You will work closely with our administration team and clinicians, supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic while delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role
This is a casual position with approximately 20+ hours per week, primarily across Tuesday to Friday.

You will be joining a large and supportive clinic team, working alongside our administration staff and clinicians.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming patients and managing front desk reception and check-in
• Handling phone calls and responding to email enquiries
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Processing payments via HICAPS, Medicare and EFTPOS
• Managing invoicing and assisting with debtor follow-up
• Processing referrals and managing clinic correspondence
• Diary management for clinicians
• Maintaining accurate patient records in our practice management software (Gensolve)
• General administrative duties including data entry
• Supporting a clean, organised and professional clinic environment
• Collaborating with our clinicians and admin team to ensure excellent patient care

Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is professional, organised and enjoys working with people. Ideally you will have:

• Previous reception or administration experience (medical or allied health highly regarded)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• A team-focused mindset
