We’re seeking a confident and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Hervey Bay on a maternity leave cover contract, working 50/50 across our Sports & Spinal clinic and our community care team, Team Rehab Solutions (TRS).

This role is ideal for an EP who enjoys variety and feels confident delivering both one-on-one and group-based exercise interventions, including working with paediatric clients and people living with disabilities.

About the Role
This is a fixed-term position from June 2026 to February 2027, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

You will split your time evenly between clinic-based care and community-based care, delivering high-quality, person-centred exercise physiology services.

In this role, you will:

• Confidently plan and run exercise classes within the clinic setting
• Deliver individualised exercise programs for acute and chronic conditions
• Work with a diverse client base including paediatrics, people with disabilities, and complex presentations
• Provide general Exercise Physiology services within the clinic environment
• Deliver in-home services across NDIS, Aged Care and Community Care caseloads
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary allied health team
• Educate and empower patients through movement, lifestyle and behaviour change strategies

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Be confident running group exercise classes independently
• Have experience working with paediatric clients
• Be comfortable supporting patients with disabilities and varying functional abilities
• Enjoy delivering general EP services in a busy clinic environment
• Thrive working autonomously while being part of a supportive team
• Be adaptable and organised, enjoying variety in your day

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology / Exercise Science
• Current ESSA Accreditation
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
