With 30+ years of experience, Sports & Spinal is one of Southeast Queensland’s leading Allied Health providers, with 25 private practices and community services. As our business continues to grow, we’re expanding our finance team to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely financial operations.

About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and contribute to day-to-day receivables processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all areas of accounts support.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily receipting from bank statements in Xero
• Assist with managing and reducing aged debtors
• Monitor and action the remittance email inbox
• Support the finance team with general accounts tasks
• Respond to internal queries in a timely and professional manner
• Ad hoc tasks and assistance as needed

About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive team environment and brings:

• Background in office administration or management (ideally in healthcare)
• Experience or training in accounts or bookkeeping
• Understanding of or experience with NDIS billing and processes
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfort working remotely, with the ability to meet in person quarterly
• Experience with Xero and/or clinic software such as Gensolve will be highly regarded.
