SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing specialist construction business based in London.
This is a senior commercial role suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking for responsibility across a range of projects and wants to be part of a successful, well established business.
THE ROLE
- Managing the commercial and financial aspects of multiple projects from tender through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations, applications and final accounts
- Managing project costs, budgets and forecasting
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring commercial obligations are managed effectively
- Working closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payment processes
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
- Preparing cost reports and providing accurate financial information to senior management
- Supporting the tendering and procurement process
- Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budgets and commercial targets
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Strong commercial and financial management skills
- Experience managing projects from tender through to final account
- Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Confident negotiating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ideally degree qualified or hold a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
