Role Overview: In this role, you will contribute to the Y factor by leading our team to success across the Y Suites Portfolio. You will be responsible for maximising occupancy, overseeing financial management and delivering an exceptional experience for our guests and residents. As the General Manager, you'll be the main point of contact between our clients and internal teams, ensuring that both Y Suites and the owners' expectations are met to strengthen the Y Suites brand.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver outstanding service to all customers, ensuring the Essence brand standards are upheld.
- Oversee the property’s financial performance to meet budget goals, including managing revenue, occupancy and expenses.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training and coaching – ensuring alignment with company values.
- Maintain strong, proactive relationships with key stakeholders, providing timely updates and reports.
- Ensure the building properly maintained, secure and safe for all occupants.
About You: It is essential that you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in property management, student accommodation or similar field. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a vibrant community and nurturing meaningful connections with all stakeholders, embodying the UniLodge commitment to excellence. More about you:

- Hold a valid and current Certificate of Registration lodged with NSW Fair Trading
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and driving continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation and presentation skills.
