We have an exciting new opportunity for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team based at Taringa on a Casual basis  
  
PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, your role as Housekeeping Room Attendant (RA) is to provide passionate, friendly, and professional service to all hotel guests and visitors whilst servicing & cleaning all allocated guest rooms ensuring all tasks are completed at or above the required standard and within the set timeframes.
  
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness of guest rooms, guest corridors, linen room/pantries according to procedure & checklists
• Comply with guest privacy and security procedures
• Responsible for the master floor keys that you sign in & out each shift and ensure they remain secure throughout your shift and returned at the end of shift
• Attend all briefings, meetings and training as assigned by management
• Manage guest complaints immediately if possible or escalate where necessary to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Understand and ensure the safe usage and storage of cleaning/ chemical agents in line with health & safety regulations.

To be successful for this role:

• Can demonstrate minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to use computer tablets and mobile phones for housekeeping tasks
• Good oral and written proficiency in English language
• Can multi-task, and work well in high pressure situations
• A team player and supporter of the business
• You will be well presented and always professionally groomed
• Hold valid working rights in Australia
• Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
