Role Overview:
In this role, you will develop and lead a multi-dimensional and culturally diverse community and team under the guidance of the General Manager and General Manager Portfolio, with a focus on championing residential wellbeing, delivering pastoral care services and offering support in relation to academic matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire and support the management and growth of the Residential Life Team and Wellbeing Program for the whole portfolio.
Deliver outstanding experience service to residents, staff, university departments, visitors, suppliers, contractors, and partner organizations.
Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Develop and implement initiatives that foster a strong sense of belonging, cultural awareness, and social connection among residents. Ensure programs cater to diverse student needs, promoting an inclusive and supportive living environment.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of the Residential Life Advisor teams.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and creative in event planning, with experience in end-to-end event management and a strong understanding of university life and residential operations. You will also provide pastoral care, supporting residents through challenges with a compassionate approach, ideally backed by experience in wellbeing or mental health. A supportive and inclusive leader, you will manage a full-time team, ensuring effective delegation, mentorship, and collaboration. Your ability to balance operations, student engagement, and community building will be key to fostering a vibrant and supportive residential environment.
