The Role – General Manager: We have an exciting opportunity for a poised and proactive General Manager to join and lead our team at Essence Dickson Village. In this position, you will be tasked with optimising net operating outcomes, enhancing our resident experience and guiding the property team. Use your strong leadership skills to its full advantage in this role, focusing on delivering outstanding service and ensuring seamless daily operations.
About Dickson Village:
Situated close to the Canberra CBD, Dickson Village Apartments offers elevated living experiences with onsite management and sustainable living options. Residents can choose between furnished and unfurnished apartments, along with amenities designed for convenience and engagement programs to foster a true sense of community. Affordable housing options are also available for key/essential workers.
About You: - You will develop and maintain a high level of awareness of the principles of Build to Rent (BTR), ensuring Essence Communities Dickson Village remains a market leader.
- Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the property team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the client, head office, operations team, residents, and other relevant stakeholders.
- You will drive all leasing outcomes to ensure occupancy is kept in line with leasing budget and vacancy is minimised.
- Understand and deliver monthly reports and forecasts on property performance against budget and actively initiative value add initiatives to drive performance.
- Manage onsite operations, ensuring the property is compliant, safe and presented to the highest of standards.
- Current ACT Real Estate Registration or Licence to conduct Rel Estate business
- National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia and New Zealand
- Ability to work across MON – SAT roster
