About this Role:

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. As our Maintenance Team Member, you will take ownership of day-to-day maintenance across apartments, common areas, and building exteriors – delivering high-quality repairs, supporting safety and compliance, and creating a seamless living experience for residents at West Tower Melbourne Quarter through responsive and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:
  
At a glance, you will:

• Complete repairs efficiently across apartments and common areas, ensuring all works meet agreed timeframes and quality standards.
• Operate in line with health and safety regulations, report risks or unauthorised works, and protect warranties through best-practice maintenance.
• Work closely with the Reporting Manager, leasing team, and external contractors to prioritise tasks, escalate issues, and support inspections and repairs.
• Ensure tools, trolley, and workshop are organised and fully stocked, with regular stock monitoring, reporting, and monthly inventory management.
• Respond promptly to urgent requests, contribute to preventative maintenance plans, and deliver a professional, helpful experience for residents.

About You:

Technically strong, quality-driven, and safety-focused, you take pride in delivering an exceptional resident experience at West Tower Melbourne Quarter. You will also bring:

• A relevant trade qualification (Electrical, Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering highly regarded)
• Detail orientated with experience in a similar role/industry.
• Valid State Driver's License (class C preferred)
• Excellent communication skills + ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia + National Police Check.
