About the Role: As the Maintenance & Cleaning Coordinator at Southern Cross University Campus (Lismore), you oversee our facilities to ensure they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll also support inspections, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to creating a positive living experience for residents.
At a glance, you will:
- Carry out general repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting).
- Maintain gardens and common areas to a high standard.
- Overseeing cleaning and upkeep of shared facilities (kitchens, BBQs, laundries).
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance and managing spare parts.
- Support inspections and liaising with contractors when required.
About You:
To be successful in this role, we are on the lookout for:
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Safety first mindset and understanding of basic OH&S principles & chemical handling.
- Prior experience in a similar in the hospitality/property management sector
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
