About the Role: As our General Manager – Portfolio (GMP), you will oversee multiple student accommodation properties at the University of Canberra. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence across the portfolio, driving high-performance teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The GMP will manage diverse teams across properties, oversee financial and operational outcomes, and contribute to the growth and culture of the UniLodge Living Group.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop property teams, fostering high performance and a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee multiple properties to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and presentation standards.
- Manage financial performance, budgets, and maximise returns for UniLodge and investors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors and management bodies.
- Identify, own, and resolve operational challenges, driving continuous improvement across the portfolio.
Our Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for a confident, commercially minded leader with proven experience managing multiple sites or complex operations. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven senior leadership experience across multiple sites or a portfolio environment
- Experience in property, accommodation, hospitality, student living or a similarly complex service environment
- Highly organised, solutions-focused and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Valid National Police Check + Working with Vulnerable People's Check.
