About this role:
As the Portfolio Facilities Manager, you will take the lead in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and presentation of our properties, including shared facilities, are in line with our internal Facilities Management Agreement.
You will manage a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire portfolio.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of our preventative maintenance strategy, ensuring all building are well maintained and fully compliant with safety and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the general maintenance of apartments, shared areas, and external spaces to ensure they are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Manage the procurement and performance of service providers, ensuring value for money, contract compliance, and quality outcomes across all facilities.
- Oversee defect rectification, warranty claims, and liability matters across both properties.
- Supervise and mentor the Facilities team, ensuring guidance and support to drive performance.
About You:
To be successful in this role, we require you to have:
- Unrestricted working rights in AU
- Valid National Police Check (or be willing to obtain)
- Trade Qualification – Mechanical Engineer, Electrician or Plumber (highly desirable)
- Proven experience managing facilities across a multi-site or portfolio environment, with a strong hands-on approach
- Take full ownership of the Defects Liability Period across the portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for all defect-related matters
- Valid Driver's Licence (Class C preferred).
