We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to join the team in Christchurch. Working with our halls of residence, you will be responsible for managing a small operations team, working together to manage daily operations, booking management and providing resident support to these students.
ABOUT YOU - Full-time position: 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday with ability to work after hours
- Manage the day-to-day administrative operations
- Recruit, manage and develop a team of high performing staff
- Build and maintain relationships with each key stakeholder group (students, family, University)
- Working with management and the University of Canterbury in relation to bookings
- Ongoing management of room inspections, and maintenance reporting
- Support front of house resident account and finance management
- Work with our facilities staff to maintain the hall to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation
- Prepare and provide any reports for senior management as requested
- Be an active member of the emergency response team
What you’ll need to succeed - Previous leadership experience in the accommodation industry
- Full and clean NZ Drivers license
- Experience with leasing and property management
- Experience in a tertiary education and student support environment (highly regarded)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve & manage conflict
- A focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences
- NZ Police Vetting (required)
