Role Overview: 
  
Join a mission driven team creating high-quality, community-focused homes that offer long-term stability for renters. As our Maintenance Officer, you’ll lead all defect, warranty, and maintenance operations across our growing Single Family Homes (SFH) portfolio - ensuring every home meets the standards our communities deserve.

Your Responsibilities will include: 

• Oversee the full builder defect reporting process
• Accurately assess and categorise defects, warranties, and maintenance needs
• Schedule and manage trades/contractors to complete repairs on time
• Keep renters, builders, trades/contractors, and internal teams informed with clear updates
• Build and manage emergency call-out registers
• Ensure all work meets SFH quality and compliance standards

About You:
  
Success in this role looks like maintenance and defect tasks being completed on time, supported by high-quality workmanship that requires minimal rework. 
Ideally, we are seeking candidates who will have: 

• Unlimited working rights in Australia
• Valid National Police Check (or be willing to obtain). 
• Experience in residential maintenance, building defects, or property operations.
• Strong coordination and scheduling capabilities
• Competence in digital maintenance/work order systems.
• Ability to travel across regional and metropolitan clusters - valid Driver's Licence is a must.
