The Role - Maintenance Service Coordinator As the Maintenance Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the delivery of facilities and building maintenance services for our Melbourne Central location that comply with all codes and regulations, meet service requirements, and ensure a safe and secure work environment for all building occupants and visitors. More specifically you will:
- Be responsible for the general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the building
- Establish systems and procedures to facilitate preventative maintenance programs including selection of suppliers and support system, meeting budget and standard requirements as set by management
- Coordinate any external contractors onsite & ensure compliance
- Complete a daily check of plant equipment, common facilities and property specific requirements
- Operate within agreed company health and safety procedures. Follow industry and statutory regulations at all times
You - Our Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- National Police Check (valid within 3 months or be willing to obtain)
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Similar experience within student accommodation or hospitality industry
- Trade qualification will be highly regarded
- Confident computer skills including ability to use various systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- You will have a 'safety first' mindset, and an understanding of basic OH&S principles and chemical handling
- Ability to establish good working relations with staff, residents, contractors, etc.
