About your new roleWe are seeking a Residential Life Supervisor to join our UniLodge @ Curtin University team are on a full time basis. As the Residential Life Supervisor (RLS) you will be responsible for facilitating the coordination of the residence as a community under the direction and management of the Residential Life Manager (RLM). You will play a key role in overseeing resident wellbeing and delivery of the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Residential Life Program, including, but not limited to, incident and welfare management, purchasing and administration.
- Assist the RLM in the development, implementation, and management of strategic Residential Life Projects and Events.
- Participate in an on-call after-hours rotation as the primary contact for residents in relation to all situations that may arise.
- Provide exceptional service to all residents, staff, investors, visitors, suppliers, contractors, and associated organisations.
- Establish and maintain a constructive and productive working relationship with all key stakeholders.
About You: We are looking for someone with a ‘hands on approach’! You will be energetic, creative, self-motivated, and focused on delivering a memorable student resident experience. In addition to this, you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar capacity, including wellbeing and mental health literacy
- Demonstrated ability to develop new ideas and engaging events, then formulate plans to deliver them
- Experience managing events in line with event budgets
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- Possess a current First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- The successful candidate must be willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working With Children Check
