About the Role: As Leasing Manager, you will be the driving force behind occupancy success at Indi Sydney – delivering premium rental experiences in a dynamic Build to Rent community. You will lead leasing strategy and execution, converting prospects into residents and ensuring income targets are exceeded through reduced vacancy and optimal rental returns. This role blends sales acumen, market insight, and relationship-building to champion long-term leasing and create a cohesive resident community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Drive proactive leasing strategies in collaboration with ownership to optimise occupancy, minimise vacancy, and maximise rental income in line with budgeted targets.
- Balance rent returns and vacancy using data-driven pricing and incentive strategies.
- Deliver strong leasing results with a focus on renewals and exceptional resident experience.
- Effectively communicate the lifestyle, amenities, and long-term value of the community to prospective tenants, positioning the property as a premium alternative to traditional renting or ownership.
- Ensure accurate application processing, compliance with tenancy legislation, and seamless use of CRM and PMS systems to support efficient leasing operations and community cohesion.
Skills & Experience Required With a background in BTR, property or hotels, you will bring:
- Unlimited Working Rights in Australia
- Valid NSW Class 2 Real Estate Agent Licence
- Proven leasing experience in residential, commercial, or retail sectors
- Strong financial acumen and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
