We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Leasing Manager to lead the leasing strategy for our new Build to Rent (BTR) asset in Preston. You’ll be responsible for optimising rental income, meeting occupancy and retention targets, and delivering a premium leasing experience for all prospects and residents.
  
What is Build-to-Rent (BTR)?

The build to rent model in Australia is a new way of renting that offers long-term security and flexible leases, with more options for tenants. Under build to rent Australia, one organisation owns the entire building and the rental units are leased individually. This single-ownership model allows secure rental terms for residents while accessing the benefits of professional property management. BTR offers a premium experience to residents, with leasing flexibility, an easy move-in process, on-site management and an inclusion offer of a range of services and facilities to make your apartment your home (such as a gym, entertainment areas, outdoor dining and a pool to name a few!).

Role Overview:

As the Leasing Manager, you will:

• Drive and implement strategic leasing initiatives to maximise occupancy and rental returns.
• Champion the leasing journey, conducting property tours and managing tenant applications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, prospects, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Leasing Agent to achieve team targets.
• Ensure compliance with VIC legislation, accurate reporting, and effective use of CRM systems.

This development is situated on Time Out's voted Best High Street in the world, and features a sixteen-story mixed-use property with 292 residences, three retail and seven office spaces as part of the community. ​Purpose-built as a unified rental offering, the property boasts a sophisticated range of amenities including a resident’s lounge, fully equipped gym, co-working spaces with bookable meeting room, private rooftop dining and communal terrace with pet play area.
  
About You:

With a background in BTR, property or hotels, you will bring:

• Proven leasing experience in residential, commercial, or retail sectors
• Strong financial acumen and results-driven mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of customer service and problem-solving ability
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask
• Valid Certificate IV in Real Estate Practise or Diploma of Property
