This full-time role requires Saturday availability during our busy Jan/Feb and June/July intake seasons.
About the Role
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with property owners and residents while leading a high-performing service team. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations across tenancy management, owner communications, accounts, and resident wellbeing. The Customer Service Manager also plays a key part in training, and developing team members to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities include
Act as the first point of contact contact for owners, providing timely updates and transparent reporting to build confidence and trust.
Support residents with inquiries, manage check-in and check-out processes, and handle rent arrears professionally to create a positive living environment.
Mentor and train team members, providing regular feedback to foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on excellent service.
Oversee all financial and operational aspects of the property, including managing accounts, coordinating with contractors, and conducting regular inspections.
Promptly and professionally manage and resolve issues for both residents and owners, ensuring safety and well-being while handling key administrative task
Skills & Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need:
Strong background in property management, student accommodation, or customer service leadership.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with both owners and residents.
Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with a supportive and professional management style.
Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail in managing accounts, reporting, and compliance.
Confident liaising with contractors and external service providers.
