We are seeking an Administration Coordinator (Finance) to join the team in Christchurch. UniLodge Canterbury is home to 2600 University of Canterbury students living on campus. Reporting to the General Manager Portfolio, and working closely with Property Managers, you will be responsible for coordinating key financial process across the entire portfolio. These include processing resident direct debits, refunds, daily bank reconciliation and end of month financial processing, overseeing debt management processes and integrity in our property management system. You will also provide general administrative support to the General Manager Portfolio to ensure administration excellence across all our halls of residence.
About the Role - Full-time position
- 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday with ability to work flexible around key business periods
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations for the portfolio
- Build and maintain relationships with each key stakeholder group (Head office, University)
- Working with Property Manager Operations in relation to financial procedures
- Work with front desk Customer Service teams on processes and procedures
- Prepare and provide any reports for senior management as requested
What you’ll need to succeed - Qualification in finance/business/accounting
- Full and clean NZ Drivers license
- Experience with administration and financial procedures
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve
- A focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences
- NZ Police Vetting (required)
