Are you passionate about student wellbeing, community building, and helping people thrive? We're looking for a driven and empathetic Residential Life Supervisor to join our team at UniLodge Canterbury for a 9-month fixed term to cover maternity leave.

About the Role: 

In this role, you'll lead the coordination of our vibrant student community, supporting the wellbeing of residents and delivering our Residential Life and Wellbeing Program. You'll work closely with university partners, lead events and projects, support a team of student leaders (Taurima), and be a key player in creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging living environment for all.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Full time fixed term position  
• Roster: 40 hrs per week across 2pm to 10.30pm Tuesday-Saturday 
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Residential Life Program
• Respond to welfare concerns and coordinate resident support
• Lead and support a team of student leaders (Taurima)
• Organise and deliver a calendar of social, academic, and wellbeing events
• Actively contribute to a safe, inclusive, and responsive residential community
• Liaise with university support services and key stakeholders
• Assist with incident response, reporting, and case management

About You:

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Experience in student life, wellbeing, education, community engagement, or similar roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and event coordination ability
• Confidence responding to pastoral care needs and incidents
• A passion for student success and community development
• Mental Health First Aid (or willingness to complete training)
