We are seeking a General Manager to join the inaugural team to launch our new Lorne Street property in Auckland. You will be responsible for our 758 rooms student accommodation building, extensive common areas, including a largest gymnasium located near AUT campus and University of Auckland campus in the central City of Auckland.
This exciting full-time opportunity will commence in August 2025 in preparation for a Semester 1 2026 cohort.
ABOUT THE ROLE We require a full time General Manager to help oversee the leasing of apartments and the day to day running of our property at UniLodge on Lorne Street, Auckland.
This is a hands-on role, overseeing the management of the Lorne Street UniLodge property. Your key responsibilities will include managing the overall financial management and performance as outlined in the financial model/budget, formulating strategy around leasing and business development, overseeing property, performance goals, stakeholder management and managing people. In addition to this you will lead your team to create a unique experience for our residents through the development and implementation of the Residential Life Programs so that our residents have a feeling of being part of a great community.
ABOUT YOU This position requires an individual with true commercial acumen. You will be experienced leasing and compliance in senior operations management and leadership or similar. You will be a strong leader who is focused on creating high performing teams to deliver strong property performance in all areas and has a vision and passion for delivering outstanding experiences for our residence.
