• FT position - 38 hours per week
• Two Sites: Essence Suites Taringa and Essence Apartments Chermside 
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-presented living environment for all guests   

Role Overview: 

In this hands-on role, you will be tasked with general maintenance and repairs across our apartments, common areas and building exteriors to ensure a safe, functional, and well presented environment for all guests and staff members. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Carry out maintenance duties promptly, notifying the Reporting Manager of any delays or unexpected issues.
• Keep the maintenance trolley fully stocked and ensure the workshop remains clean, orderly, and secure.
• Track spare part usage, report low stock levels, and support monthly stock take activities.
• Assist with apartment departure inspections and complete required repair works to a high standard.
• Consistently adhere to all workplace health, safety, and compliance protocols.

About You: 

With at least 1 year experience, you will be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. You will take pride in completing tasks efficiently and to a high standard, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. More about you: 

• Unrestricted Working Rights in Australia
• Valid National Police Check
• Valid Driver's Licence - Class C preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a level of computer literacy 
• Prior experience in a maintenance/handyperson role or trade qualification is highly regarded
