Role Overview
In this hands-on role, you’ll take the lead in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and presentation of our properties, including shared facilities, are in line with our internal Facilities Management Agreement. As the Portfolio Facilities Manager, you will manage a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire portfolio. From time to time, you may be required to work extended hours or be on call to assist with modification requests or urgent maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of our preventative maintenance strategy, ensuring all building are well maintained and fully compliant with safety and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the general maintenance of apartments, shared areas, and external spaces to ensure they are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Manage the procurement and performance of service providers, ensuring value for money, contract compliance, and quality outcomes across all facilities.
- Oversee defect rectification, warranty claims, and liability matters across both properties.
- Supervise and mentor the Facilities team, ensuring guidance and support to drive performance.
- Manage the Facilities Management software system, ensuring effective tracking of assets and contractor performance.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of Facilities operations, helping the team remain proactive and aligned with industry trends.
- Be a key point of contact for emergency callouts and urgent maintenance issues, supporting onsite teams and ensuring swift resolution.
- Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring all legal, health, and environmental standards are consistently met across the portfolio.

About You
With at least 5 years of facilities or building management experience, you will be a proactive and solutions focused professional with excellent communication skills. You will be confident in managing a diverse workload and building strong rapport with contractors, residents, and team members alike. More about you:
