An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the organisation at our Head Office. The position reports and is supported by the Finance Manager & Chief Finance Officer and is located in Padstow.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  
We are looking for a CPA qualified accountant with 2 plus years’ experience as accountant in residential aged care in Australia. You will be supporting our finance team of 6, in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions and assisting the Finance Manager in preparation of month end management reporting, preparation of quarterly financial reports to the Commonwealth Government and Annual Audited and Prudential Reports.
  
 Required Skills / Experience:
  

• Residential aged care funding and receivables
• Month end reporting preparation and processes
• Quarterly and End of year audit Financial Statement Preparation.
• Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills. 
• Strong team player with ability to be flexible to work across finance functions. 
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal written

  
The successful candidate will hold: 
  

• CPA Qualified and 2 + years’ experience as an Accountant level role
• One + years’ experience in finance in residential aged care
• Clear understanding of and personal commitment to the Values of Advantaged Care. 
• Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills. 
• Strong team player with ability to be flexible to work across finance functions. 
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal written
