Seeking reliable and motivated Class 2 Truck Drivers to join their operations team. The team plays a critical role in preparing, transporting, and loading catering supplies for airline services.
About the Role
In this role, you will operate Class 2 high-lifter trucks to deliver catering supplies directly to aircraft. This position requires precision driving, strong safety awareness, and effective communication, as you will be working in a controlled airside environment.
During downtime between flight schedules, you will also assist with packing and preparing non-food supplies for delivery.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Operate Class 2 heavy vehicles (high-lifter trucks) within
the airport precinct
- Deliver and load catering supplies onto aircraft and
remove inbound airline supplies
- Perform close-range, low-speed precision driving around
aircraft
- Communicate clearly with airside staff and flight crews
- Assist with packing and preparing non-food catering
supplies during downtime
- Follow all safety, aviation, and company procedures at all
times
Skills and Experience Required:
- Valid New Zealand Class 2 driver's licence
- Proven experience driving heavy vehicles (highly
desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with clear spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
- Reliability and flexibility to work across varying shifts

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid New Zealand Class 2 Heavy Vehicle driver
licence
- Must have minimum 2 years of class 2 vehicle driving experience
- Able to present a clean criminal record
- Available to work across seven days on a five-day roster
- Flexible to work alternate shifts as operationally required
- Fork hoist certification is an advantage but not essential
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal
supervision
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
- Able to pass all pre-employment checks, including medical
and background screening
- CV with a minimum of two referees for reference checks
