An airline catering company located in Mangere (Airport Oaks area) are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson / Inventory Controller to join their team.
The role of Store person is responsible for receiving inwards goods/deliveries, ensuring a steady supply of food and equipment items to the production area, picking and packing goods and maintaining documentation.
As an Inventory Controller the focus will be to co-ordinate and control the inventory flow to our customers.
You will be responsible for maintaining the accurate management of our Inventory in the Warehouse/Food Stores department.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the day to day operation of the department.
Experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment would be great, but what we really value is your reliability, enthusiasm and the ability to work shifts.
Experience working in food manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Must have a forklift licence
- Physically fit as the role involves a lot of physical work including heavy lifting
- Good working knowledge of SAP system and intermediate level of Excel and Word required to maintain
records
- Problem solver with a can do attitude
- Proven ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work rostered shift hours (Mon to Sun) and weekends on a 5 day roster.
- Must have own transport
- Have a clean MOJ/ Police record due to Airport location
