We are looking for a dynamic, skilled, and motivated person who is excited about being part of our prison services team and playing an integral part in supporting the delivery of forensic drug and alcohol treatment within prisons across Victoria.

The position is a fixed term contract to 30 June 2023, with the possibility of extension. The roles are based at multiple prison sites across the State, on part-time, fixed term bases. The purpose of the Care and Recovery role is to support the delivery of alcohol and drug treatment services whilst working within a clinical team. The principal role of the CRC is to meet with new receptions arriving at the location, assessing for treatment readiness, and identifying treatment and referral needs. As the CRC onsite, you will also have the opportunity to attend case planning meetings, manage waitlists, and prioritise the treatment needs of the prisoners. You will also have the opportunity to deliver harm reduction information and education sessions and provide support to clients.
