The Wilner Group has partnered with our client an international manufacturer and technology leader with decades of experience providing innovative infrastructure solutions for customers in the energy, telecom, defense, transportation, and other industrial markets. Together we are searching for a Project Manager- Switchgear to join their team at their Kearny, NJ location.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main customer contact, ensuring all project and sales details are captured.
• Review and translate customer drawings for engineering input.
• Manage projects from concept through production and final shipment.
• Communicate project status to customers and internal teams.
• Monitor capacity constraints and coordinate with production, quality, and engineering to address issues.
• Oversee project budgets and document any overages.
• Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings.
• Support compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of project management experience.
• Background in electrical equipment manufacturing, distribution, or contracting.
• Ability to interpret 2D/3D drawings and RFQ documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and SAP.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, on-site environment (not remote).
Compensation: $95k-$100k
