The Wilner Group has partnered with our client, a manufacturer with over 285 years of excellence, producing premium products that enhance the lives of professional and home chefs worldwide. Together, we are seeking a Controller to join their team on a HYBRID SCHEDULE in Pleasantville, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage accounting operations, including A/P, GL, and cost accounting.
• Prepare and publish timely financial reports for internal use and the corporate office.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and foreign exchange accounting.
• Partner with the HR Director on payroll and benefits.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguards for revenue, costs, and expenditures, including oversight of the Internal Control Systems (ICS) and the annual internal control audit.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
• CPA required; public accounting experience a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop staff.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Commitment to quality and integrity in supporting business needs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation: $170k–$200k
