The Wilner Group has partnered with our client, an international manufacturer and technology leader with decades of experience providing innovative infrastructure solutions for customers in the energy, telecom, defense, transportation, and other industrial markets. Together, we are seeking an EHS/Safety Coordinator to join their team full-time, in-person at their Kearny, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain site compliance with EHS regulations, manage safety records and permits, conduct audits and inspections, and serve as the point of contact for regulatory reporting.
• Deliver safety training, enforce procedures, oversee new hire orientation, and maintain ISO/OSHA-compliant training documentation.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, perform root cause analysis, and guide management on proper accident reporting procedures.
• Track environmental metrics, assist with hazardous waste handling, and ensure proper environmental reporting.
• Administer and maintain records for forklift/truck training programs.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Safety Management Systems.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification strongly preferred or equivalent of 6 years of experience in this area.
• Experience as a safety trainer or facilitator in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local/state regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $25/hr. - $30/hr., based on experience.
