Who our client is:
A leading global manufacturer for the beauty industry. Their century of industry expertise, expansive product portfolio, and 12 strategically located manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, South America, and Asia allow us to deliver unparalleled end-to-end solutions on a global scale. Together we a searching for a Senior Corporate Accountant - Technical Accounting - to join their team on-site at their Saddle Brook, NJ location. HYBRID SCHEDULE 3 days in the office- 2 days working from home.

Requirements:            

• Taking ownership and managing the consolidation process, including group subsidiaries, joint ventures, and acquisitions. This involves gathering financial data from various sources, eliminating intercompany transactions, and preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements by US GAAP.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting to mitigate risks and prevent errors or fraud.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited university required.
• Consolidation & reporting experience required.
• Big four or leading public accounting background preferred.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
• Advanced excel skills required.
• Knowledge of OneStream, Hyperion (HFM) or other consolidation tool.
