Our client is a medically supportive residence dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with special needs through caring and compassionate support within a nurturing environment that promotes independence, growth, and inclusion.
Our client envisions a world where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) live with dignity and independence, with access to the highest quality of care. Together we are searching for an Assistant Director of Residential Services to join their team at their Paramus, NJ location.

Requirements:

• Preview, oversee and participate in resident Individualized Service Plans (ISP’s), serving as a member of an I.D.T. and ensuring that resident needs and preferences are properly addressed, and plans are appropriately implemented, monitored, and revised as needs dictate.
• Assist in overseeing residential staff needs, including, but not limited to, utilization, recruitment, orientation, supervision, training, and development as needed.
• Aid and support the home and apartment managers to resolve coverage and related staffing issues.
• Assist with the processing and overseeing of various forms of program documentation to ensure compliance with company policy and various federal, state, and local requirements.

  
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree in Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Special Education or Psychology is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working with DD population in a managerial capacity.

Compensation, Benefits, Perks:
Compensation: $130k-$150k based on experience.
