The Wilner Group has partnered with the world’s largest vertically integrated metal mesh manufacturer and the global leader in pyrotechnic airbag inflator filters. Together we are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team at their Lincoln, RI location. The compensation for this position is $130k-$160k based on experience.
  
Responsibilities:

• Lead complex mechanical engineering projects from initiation to delivery, including conceptual
• design, detailed engineering, prototyping, testing, and implementation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design, develop and test mechanical systems and components to improve product performance, reliability and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement automated solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Independently monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on industrial machine
• design and development, and project management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, design, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in automation and robotics is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
