The Wilner Group has partnered with our client a full-service building automation, design-build, and mechanical contracting firm trusted by Fortune 500 clients. Together we are searching for a Mechanical Draftsman to join their team at their South Amboy, NJ location. This is a full-time, On-site position with a compensation of $60k-$85k based on experience. Requirements:

• Accurately and comprehensively understand the scope of work and customer requirements to develop a design in line with the desired project outcome.
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of thorough knowledge of the commercial HVAC industry, HVAC industry.
• 2+ year minimum and proficient with AutoCad and Microsoft applications, Revit and BIM.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; mechanical engineering.
• Current valid driver’s license for operating motor vehicles in the state of New Jersey.
