Our client is the world’s largest vertically integrated Knitted Wire Mesh manufacturer, they design, build, and maintain all their manufacturing equipment in-house. Together we are searching for an MRO Lead Buyer to join their team headquartered in Lincoln, RI. This is a full-time, remote position with 50% travel, $90k-$125k compensation based on experience.
  
Requirements:

• Communicate strategies and solutions to internal stakeholders and vendors to achieve financial goals, maintain timelines, and ultimately liaise between internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements for services, subcontracting, and goods to leverage company spending and achieve targeted cost reductions.
• Manage the logistics of transportation within the US/Mexico. LPL, 3PL, and oceanic freight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an MRO purchasing, a buyer, or a facilities management position.
• International purchasing experience Preferred.
